We went to see Eve because there is some indication in the de Croisettes history that this might have been family property, occupied by one of the last known member of the family to enjoy aristocratic status, a widow, I think. The link, at this point in time, July 2008, has been mislaid. It's not far south from Baron/Russon.
The house is on a hump near the very beautiful Church. Now used as a home for young people with learning needs, it's possible to wander round the grounds.
Eve is between the N2 and the D549, 20-25 kilometres southeast of Senlis. You can't miss it. Just prowl around near the Church, look for the courtyard through an archway, and there you are. The red and white building with a tower might have been connected in some way.
