Marriages Dec 1889 BRIGGS Martha Amelia Leeds 9b 626 Ransley Tom

The 1891 and 1901 censuses tell how her family grew. In the 1901 living at 23 Ley Lane, Armley. The births of their later children cannot be traced on the GRO. Perhaps there was a spelling change, of the family was more mobile than we have been given to believe.

A candidate to her great-grandmother was Elizabeth Pheasant. Pheasant might be a gypsy name.
