George may have married in Campsall, about 15 miles east of Darton. There was a marriage to SARAH PICKERSDIKE on 29 SEP 1741 at Campsall. There was also a baptism of a George, back in Darton, which might explain why he was there: he might have been working away, say as a stone mason, met Sarah, married her in Campsall, then took her back to Darton.
