General Note
Charles's birth was registered in Oldham, December quarter 1876, ref. 8d., 708. At the time of the 1881 census Charles was living at Elly Clough House, Royton, Lancs. Charles died after falling from a window. He was sleep walking, and did a 'high dive' from an upstairs window.
