Earned his living as a magician. He visited Norwich in the 1950s with his two children a couple of times. On going to to New Zealand with Olive and her family he was forced to leave his children with his wife Helen. He arrived on the SS Rangitiki in New Zealand 14th June 1958. Max divorced in 1958, remarried, then divorced again and moved to Sydney where he met Faye, with whom he settled. They moved to New Zealand for a time, but returned to Fairfield, Sydney where he died around 1985. |
