Notes for Ann TAYLOR

General Note
Her baptism entry is very clear, the third one down on the entries for May in 1743. It states: 7 Ann Daughter of Isaac & Mary Taylor.

The wedding entry was on page 147, no. 590. John's name was given without the final 'e', and no 'de'. He was a 'batchelor' and she, of the same Parish, a 'spinster', although we know she came from a Nottinghamshire family.

The marriage was by licence. The witnesses were Alexson Der Dunell and Hannah Taylor, perhaps Ann's sister. The application for the licence shows her name with a final 'e', ie Anne.

It looks as if she was still alive until 1857: Deaths Dec 1857 De la Croisette Ann Alice Strand 1b 275
