Birth registration Holborn 1b, p. 725, March quarter 1870. The family were living at St John's in Westminster. Often known as George.

Henry appeared in the 1881 census, aged 11, born at Romney S, Westminster. He was a scholar. Parts of Westminster are covered by the St George's Hanover Square district. Henry married Dec 1890 Efford Bertha Annie St. Geo. H. Sq. 1a 946.

He appears in the 1891 census with Bertha at 113 Lillington Street, Westminster:

Henry was living at 31 The Avenue Egham St John in Surrey in the 1901 census with Bertha Annie, Lilian Bertha (8), Arthur George (6), Ivy Adelaide (4), Violet Florence (3) and Albert Edward, 1 month. It looks as another child, Henry George, born in between Arthur George and Ivy, might have died. To check.

Henry was an Engineer at a silk works.
