His birth registration could be either of these: Births Sep 1859 Andrews William Mile End 1c 495 Births Dec 1859 ANDREWS William Shoreditch 1c 178, this being the more likely. He was an errand boy in the 1871 census, living at home, and again at home in 1881, a brass turner. Not found yet as at September 2005 in the 1891 census. There is a death in the right area in 1889 which would explain our inability to trace him in the 1891 census.
