Attempting to check out which would have been the most likely groom for her:One Edwin Edwards in the 1901 in the area was 47 with a large family at 22 Allerton Street, Shoreditch. This was a good street with the kind of neighbours Alice might have mixed with. He was a 'Cutter & shader, flower work'. The other Edwin, equally likely, was a Sluice Value Examiner.
