| Alister Kershaw, b. 19 Dec 1921 (Melbourne?) and d. 27 Feb 1995 (France). He was twice married and there were two children of the second marriage. There was an obituary by his friend Geoffrey Dutton in The Australian of 1 March 1995. Alton Kershaw was the Commandant of the Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Camp. In a nutshell: poet, author and broadcaster, lived in France from 1947. Wrote 11 books. |
